    Daily Affirmation!

    I forgive myself for any self-criticism and choose self-love instead.

    Love yourself. The saying "You are your own worst critic" isn't just a saying, it is the truth for most of humanity. It is important to recognize when your brain is being mean to you and try to reframe the situation into something you can control or something you can offer grace to.

    "I'm a terrible mother!" can be turned into "I may not be perfect, but I am doing my best and my love for my child gives me the strength to keep trying every day to be the mom they need."

    "I hate my job and feel awful about it!" can be turned into "I was looking for a job when I found this one. I can find a better one if I look again and network in the field I'd like to turn into a career I love."

    Reframing your self-criticism, worries, and negative thoughts into something actionable can often short circuit the negativity, even if only for that moment so you can breathe and plan with a clear head.
