    Daily Affirmation!

I refuse to let panic prevent me from enjoying my life.

Panic is manageable with the right tools. If you cannot find those tools, reach out to your community's mental health department or facility and ask if they would be willing to give you resources on how to cope with panic, ease the symptoms while you are in the panic state, and how to breathe through the discomfort as you safely remove yourself from the situation if at all possible. You don't even have to go to their facility or see their doctors. Most are more than willing to give you resources or search terms to use for Google searches.

If you aren't comfortable with calling or emailing a mental health facility, there may be community programs where you can pick up leaflets or have them print out information, or again, showing you where to look and telling you what to look for.

As someone with a panic disorder, it is so helpful for me to have a psychiatric care team I trust. I know that isn't a route many refuse to go down. But hopefully you can find resources that will help you. If not, comment to see if I or another member can help you find something that will work with your brain. Not all resources are for everyone. It's important to find the right one(s) for you.
