Daily Affirmation!
I am choosing to let my mind rest.
My mind is always going at top speed. However, I do take time, whether it's five minutes or a few hours, to let my mind rest, especially after something stressful.
I do this by taking time to play with my cats, petting them, loving on them. Or I might do some cleaning, tinker with something mindless but repetitive and calming. Or I might relax with a glass of tea on my back porch to watch the squirrels and birds play.
How do you let your mind rest? Do you do so consciously, or does it just happen automagically? Or are you in the hybrid category where you have both experiences?
